Perfect location to explore Uluru and Kata Tjuta national park by car. Our room was spacious enough to stay for a couple of days with three large suitcases, bathroom was big too. Clean and comfortable, modern furniture end equipment - we had expected something more outdated based on some reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking space. The resort offers various activities, some of which are free of charge day time activities, whereas some have to be booked separately (dinners and tours) - we particularly enjoyed the field of lights tour which was an amazing experience under the stars. The resort also includes several restaurants which are either within walking distance of the hotel or can be reached by hopping on the resort shuttle bus. The fact that the resort is in the middle of the desert makes the infrastructure and seamless logistics even more impressive. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in part of the resort and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and cozy. The bed was really comfy. It was clean. The sink is in the room, the shower and toilet are in a seperate room. It is 2 minutes away from the main square, whre two restaurants are and a supermarket which provides you with everything you need. The bus picks you up from the aiport and brings you back. There is also a shuttle in the resort, which is really convenient if you want to explore the area a little by yourself. It is the perfect spot to explore Uluru and its sorrounding. We would definitely stay there again.

The Lost Camel is a great stay. I chose it this time because it was a lower budget option from the usual apartment I stay in. The facilities and rooms are small but great and just as comfortable as the more expensive rooms. There's a fridge/ tea making facilities etc. The shower is great, good aircon, comfy bed and there is a free laundry service, a pool, and it's quiet and private. I made good use of the pool as it was so hot. It's a very short walk to the shops and food outlets in Townsquare. There is a carpark across the road and you can unload your cases at the front door.

Ayer's Rock resort is the only place you can stay around Uluru, it's very well designed and integrated with nature. Our hotel was really nice yet had no wow factor. The rooms were large and well appointed, it also had a nice pool. We didn't have breakfast included as we were up really early for sun rise adventures, but tried the Native High Tea one afternoon at Sails in the Desert (sister property) which was really nice. We also had dinner once at Ilkari (large choice buffet style) which was delicious. All in all, a great experience in the Red Centre!

The location was perfect. It was within walking distance to the “Town Centre” where IGA, souvenir shops, restaurant, cafe and takeaway are located. I attended the free interesting an informative Cultural talks at the Town Centre and the open Amphitheatre. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a pool there, but we didn’t have enough time to use it. Staff were friendly and helpful. We found the daily activity schedule and information provided helpful. Would have been good to have stayed there an extra night.
